Description

Shape the roadmap for GDC AI, focusing on on-premises generative AI, optimized inference, and the expansion into Agentic AI. Lead the integration and deployment of Gemini models in air-gapped and regulated environments, ensuring performance and compliance. Collaborate with engineering to optimize AI workloads using next-gen hardware accelerators and high-performance inference stack. Deliver the Agentic AI platform including agent development kit (ADK), agent2agent (A2A) protocols to help enterprises build autonomous, multi-step reasoning systems. Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Business, and Legal to guide products from conception to launch, ensuring we meet the needs of sovereign and regulated sectors.

Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) is at the forefront of bringing Google's AI innovation to the edge and on-premises environments. As a Product Manager on the GDC AI team, you will be part of a group responsible to bring Gemini, Gemini Enterprise Search and other advanced Google's AI capabilities to customer environments where data sovereignty, security, and low latency are paramount. You will work at the intersection of next-generation hardware, high-performance software architecture, and research to deliver Google’s AI software securely within sovereign environments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field. Experience taking technical products from conception to launch, managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (GenAI, LLMs, Inference). Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams and regions without direct authority. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate technical landscapes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to distill concepts into clear product requirements.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
