Description

Coordinate with leading security strategists in Cloud Security and Cloud Chief Information Security Officer to represent Cloud Compute at the Google Cloud Platform level.

Develop relationships with regulated industries, and be the trusted subject-matter expert on these customers and the market.

Develop business cases and success metrics for programs in collaboration with security partners and cross-functional teams.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager in the Google Cloud Compute Reliability and Trust team, you will own the strategy for the Compute Control Plane - the foundational layer where customers are able to provision resources through Google Compute Engine and Persistent Disk.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Experience in or serving a regulated industry (e.g., Financial Services, US Public Sector, healthcare, or equivalent).

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

Experience in Product Management on cross-functional projects and implementation of software security features, controls and products.

Experience with Cloud Computing. Experience with Identity Access Management controls. Knowledge of cyber-security credentials (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent).



Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Experience in or serving a regulated industry (e.g., Financial Services, US Public Sector, healthcare, or equivalent).
