Description
Lead a portfolio of several engineering programs for a fast-paced, innovative engineering team. Work with our engineering, product and business stakeholders to deliver outstanding business outcome alignment with our organizational priorities. Identify stakeholders and work with them to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives and success criteria. Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders and leadership. Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
As a Technical Program Manager you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise, with a focus on capacity planning, efficiency, obtainability and reliability programs. You proactively identify, organize, and lead portfolio activities and stakeholders in order to successfully deliver technical solutions. You scope, phase, and lead ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges including delivering downstream change management, alongside your stakeholder team. You ensure alignment of senior cross-functional and cross-organizational stakeholders.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience in program management.
7 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
Experience in capacity planning, demand planning, or supply chain.
Preferred qualifications: 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
Experience working with engineering, product and operations teams.
Extended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience in program management.
7 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
