Description
Implement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications. Establish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and Resource Stewardship.Lead a governance structure that drives executive decision-making, and ensure governance structure exposes and mitigates dependencies. Identify change management opportunities that increase program velocity and which affect multiple teams, and apply governance over change management. Define/manage a program portfolio solving problems that focus on business impact for the organization and product area.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in technical/engineering program management. 5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.
Preferred qualifications: 8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
5 years of experience working with Information Security, infrastructure, software or platforms.
5 years of supervisory experience.
Experience with software and hardware supply chain security management principles and operational practices. Experience with hardware backed security, key storage, secure boot, secure manufacturing, with knowledge of public key infrastructure and device attestation services. Knowledge of mobile operating systems, embedded systems, device manufacturing, ecosystem parties e.g. OEM, ODM, SoC, Carriers.
Extended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in technical/engineering program management. 5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.
