Description
Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, storyboards, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas and rapidly iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders.Work with PM partners to strategize and build concise user centric goals and journeys.
Prototype and evolve experiences using and AI-enabled workflow
Partner with other designers to refine design systems and integrate new features into the evolving products.
Work with the Engineering team to ensure designs are implemented to spec and collaborate with them to come up with creative design solutions when technical challenges arise.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products.
As a Senior Designer in Ads UI at Google, you will have the opportunity to do work that shapes the future of some of the most visible elements of users' interactions with Google, and to drive significant impact for the business. This work requires taste, attention to detail, and a desire to inform design not just with instinct but with data.
The Ads UI and Formats team focuses on making useful, beautiful and impactful commercial experiences for search, and helping to build the evolution of a surface that’s seen by billions of times a day. Within the User Experience organization the Google Ads team has become recognized for the innovation it propels. As the team driving core ads on Search, we are deeply involved in that surface's AI evolution as well as pioneering the development and adoption of AI-enabled workflows for the broader UX group.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
2 years of experience leading design projects.
Experience developing vibecoded prototypes and using AI-enabled workflows throughout the design process.
Extended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
