Description

Lead sourcing strategy and collaborate with engineering on early engagement, aligning supplier roadmaps for VPD and IBC modules. Manage multiple suppliers and programs, negotiating complex agreements to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and scalable supply assurance. Direct cross-functional teams through supplier selection for new platforms, balancing innovation, speed-to-market, cost, quality, and delivery. Oversee critical supply chain operations—including production schedules, capacity planning, and operational flexibility—while reporting status and risks to executive leadership. Monitor supplier performance and mitigate continuity risks via regular business reviews, leveraging deep market intelligence to optimize procurement strategies.

As a Commodity Manager, you use your wide industry knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to optimize our total cost of ownership for our global -- and growing -- infrastructure. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. Experience in commodity management, global procurement, or sourcing for board-mounted power modules (e.g., POL converters, VRMs, IBCs, or PMICs), including contract negotiation and supplier development.

Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or MBA in a technical or engineering field. Experience with power electronic components, printed circuit boards, surface mount technologies and associated manufacturing processes. Knowledge of board mounted power devices, including VPDs (Vertical Power Delivery), and IBCs (Intermediate Bus Converter) modules. Technical understanding of existing and evolving architectures of board mounted power devices.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. Experience in commodity management, global procurement, or sourcing for board-mounted power modules (e.g., POL converters, VRMs, IBCs, or PMICs), including contract negotiation and supplier development.
