Description
Develop and execute commodity strategies through close collaboration with Google engineering and commodity teams.Conduct detailed agreement negotiations including comprehensive agreements and ensure capacity planning and supply chain strategies are implemented to meet on time delivery.
Drive request for proposal, request for information, request for quotation, cost drivers, cost models and analysis with cross-functional teams and supplier selection process.
Serve as internal point of contact for all ongoing remediation and quality improvement programs, define multi-year research and development efforts and implement supply chain and supply base improvements.
Drive supply base improvement with supplier metrics and regular business reviews.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$187,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical or Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
Experience in commodity management, agreement negotiation, supplier development, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
Experience with industrial equipment, automotive or modular projects.
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or MBA in Technical or Engineering field.
Experience working with contractors and general contractors in an infrastructure environment.
Experience with industrial engineering and construction programs in data center environments.
Experience in Capital Expenditure (Capex) intensive and working with construction contractors.
Experience managing service centers and buying directly from steel mills, with an understanding of steel processing such as roll forming and cutting.
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Extended Qualifications
