Description
Develop a strategic vision for our AI infrastructure product portfolio, with a strong focus on delivering to our customer needs through innovation and flawless execution. Drive the product roadmap for Cloud TPUs and GPUs, including new product introductions, developer experience, control plane functionality, and overall feature set. Own the AI infrastructure business end-to-end, including determining pricing models, pricing points, consumption models, and investment decisions across engineering, capital expenditures, R&D investments, and more. Drive the most strategic customer engagements at the C-level, from the business cycle all the way through customer success and growth. Develop effective partnerships across Google’s product areas (e.g., GDM, Core ML.) deeply understanding their strategic data priorities and infrastructure requirements. Follow research trends in AI and systems, and work with the leads to determine the group’s research and innovation strategy.As the Senior Director of Product Management for AI Infrastructure will be at the epicenter of Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure strategy and execution. You will lead the product organization responsible for Google Cloud's foundational AI offerings, including our cutting-edge Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), high-performance GPU infrastructure, the software stack that powers them, and the end-to-end solutions that enable customers to effectively run every imaginable AI workload on the Cloud. The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $320,000-$445,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience as a Product Engineering/Management leader with a research background. Experience with AI, systems and infrastructure.Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering. 15 years of professional experience in product management. Experience in Generative AI and LLMs. Experience leading both product and engineering or research/applied science. Ability to quickly ramp up new subject areas with short notice to guide mission-critical research. Deep technical expertise in systems and software with the leadership skills to influence technical leaders across the company.
Extended Qualifications
