Be at the leading edge of AI technologies and are able to build demos, courses, and content on On Device ML usage especially to enable developers to use latest models and platforms, and using the full power of acceleration available on today’s devices. Participate in related technical communities as a practitioner having, or developing, understanding of that community’s needs. Represent the needs of related technical communities throughout the entire product lifecycle including input on design discussions, customer zero testing, launch, post-launch updates. Build an external community ecosystem of influencers, meetups, experts that amplify messages and extend reach. Advocate for community internally and influence product strategy by working with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Engagement, Go-To Market and other cross-functional teams.Passionate people are everywhere at Google. In Developer Relations, we get excited to collaborate and connect with the communities that love technology as much as we do. Part community manager and part developer advocate, Developer Relations Engineers collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate for developers interests internally at Google. You write sample code and client libraries as well as participate in developer forums and support queues to troubleshoot and debug coding problems developers encounter. Internally, you work with product engineering teams to improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs and testing new features. Chrome, Android, App Engine, HTML5 as well as our core Apps and Ads APIs are just some of the platforms you promote and support.
With your technical expertise, you drive strategy around fostering a community of developers who work with Google technologies. An ardent advocate for these developers, you represent their voice internally to our Product Managers and serve as their Google support in application development and technology implementation.
In this role, you will be working with the On-Device Machine Learning (ODML) team that provides solutions, tools, and infrastructure to run Machine Learning (ML) models on mobile, web and embedded devices.The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.). Experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence including Generative AI (GenAI) with the ability to guide developers.Preferred qualifications: 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Architect, Technical Advocate, Consultant, Community/Product Manager or Consultant. Experience presenting at technology conferences, blogging/writing technical articles, or contributing to a open source projects. Experience with coding or development. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical knowledge and information with others.
Extended Qualifications
