Description
Understand the current landscape for owned products/priorities, gathering key insights and input from end users ranging from Manager, Directors, Vice President (VPs) and People Operations (POps) partners. Shape our own products/priorities and carefully crafting problem/opportunity statements. Design and test options for how we bring owned products/priorities to life in Googler Reviews and Development (GRAD), ensuring we continue to drive designs that are inline with broader POps priorities. Seek input from executive stakeholders and cross-functional stakeholders as designs and processes evolve, iterating as needed. Partner with our Performance Delivery team to ensure they have everything they need to build an exceptional GTM for Google.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000-$235,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.7 years of experience in program or project management in an HR, or a related field. Experience in utilizing data and analytics to inform project decisions, and continuous improvement.
Preferred qualifications: Experience in working to understand critical user journeys with a focus on identifying and addressing the unique needs of different user personas (e.g., leaders, new managers, experienced managers, Googlers, frontline HR). Understanding of product lifecycle development principles and practices, with applying them to HR initiatives. Ability to use business acumen to prioritize, make decisions, and act on feedback and business needs. Ability to build and lead cross-functional teams, managing, engaging priorities and ensuring alignment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate information to audiences.
Extended Qualifications
