Oversee the end-to-end delivery of analytical projects, dashboards, data science models, and insights across our business. Use advanced statistical analysis to measure the impact of business initiatives, and identify opportunities to increase effectiveness through these levers. Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and data scientists, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment. Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the team is delivering on the most impactful initiatives, be transparent with prioritization and delivery, and influence stakeholders through effective communication. Drive excellence within the broader team's analytical and data science capabilities, driving the development of best practice and cutting-edge solutions to address complex business challenges.Google's leadership team hand-picks thorny business challenges, and members of BizOps work in small teams to find solutions. As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.7 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.
5 years of experience managing a data science team.
Preferred qualifications: 9 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.
4 years of experience as a people manager within a technical leadership role.
Experience with reporting, dashboarding, and BI.
Extended Qualifications
Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.7 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis.
