Description

Develop a content strategy to create a well-lit path for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) developers across multiple user journeys. You will do this through analysis of content use, customer engagements, feedback from senior business partners, competitor analysis, and research of next-generation technologies. Define a search engine optimization strategy for large content sets and oversee execution by providing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) guidance and expertise. Initiate the strategy around content experience, content navigation, content creation, content management, and taxonomy. Audit existing content, perform gap analysis, and determine how to present new and existing content in compelling ways to customers. Collaborate with other teams to define the front-end and back-end requirements that are needed to evolve content strategy.

In this role, you will have significant leadership and influence on documentation development in several product areas. You will define a holistic content strategy for a variety of user experiences or multimedia approaches by defining the problem, articulating the vision, setting goals, helping implement solutions, and measuring effectiveness.

You will collaborate closely with senior business partners (Product Managers, Solutions Architects, Cloud Learning, User Experience (UX), Product Marketing, Support, and more) to understand customer user journeys and ensure our content maps to those journeys. You will support and mentor technical writers, collaborate with UX and product management to identify content gaps in their product areas, and design use cases with supporting assets such as text, tutorials, videos, and more. You will ensure that our information architecture improves usability, discovery, and access for our users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of experience in a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content strategy capacity for global enterprise websites, in a high tech or internet company.

3 years of experience building content strategy, audience development, and content optimization.

Preferred qualifications: Experience as an information architect driving and deploying new content assets and processes across multiple teams for a large enterprise content set.

Experience designing and evolving an online content experience that support multiple user journeys based on different personas and user goals.



Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of experience in a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content strategy capacity for global enterprise websites, in a high tech or internet company.

3 years of experience building content strategy, audience development, and content optimization.
