Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Workplace Coach (SME) to join the Skin and Spar Quality Team, based out of Puyallup and Auburn, WA.

The Skin and Spar Quality team is looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable quality candidate that has a passion to teach, motivate, and inspire others.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers

Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

Analyzes and interprets data

Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk

Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives

Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at both the Puyallup and Auburn, WA. locations, spending a few days each week at each site.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment

3+ years of experience in a formal or informal leadership position

3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives

3+ years advising and influencing cross-functional teams to recover factory performance and solve operational quality problems

Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior or executive leadership

3+ years of experience in a role that involves strategic planning and risk identification

3+ years of project management experience

Summary Pay Range: $100,300 - $135,700
