Find your future with us.The Boeing Company’s Workforce Planning and Intelligence organization is searching for a SeniorWorkforce Planning Specialist to join our team at one of the following locations: Everett, WA; Auburn, WA; North Charleston, SC; Berkeley, MO; Renton, WA; Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 4 and Level 5 Specialists to find the best fit for these positions.
Our Workforce Specialists are the Global Process Owners (GPO) and in this role you will develop our capabilities, create processes and deliver on company-level impact initiatives. The Workforce Planning and Intelligence team supports the development and implementation of Human Resources (HR) processes and tools to provide the enterprise with talent and workforce planning data and insights.
Position Responsibilities:
Support the Workforce Planning Centers of Excellence (CoE) partnership and serve as the point of contact for enterprise-wide workforce planning strategy, standards, and initiatives
Establish partnerships with various workforce planning leaders and stakeholders to drive operational workforce planning processes
Build and maintain demand/supply forecasting models for critical skills, labor categories, and locations; drive scenario planning to support program ramps, surges, and portfolio shifts
Develop and sustain governance, processes, and operating mechanisms for workforce planning (cadence, inputs/outputs, accountabilities, decision rights)
Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Finance, and Strategy to align workforce plans with program schedules, budgets, and capability needs
Integrate workforce planning into the Long-Range Business Plan (LRBP); ensure traceability from business demand to staffing execution
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards (e.g., forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, skill coverage, health of planning) to monitor success and outcomes
Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation in planning processes; leverage Lean principles and digital tools to increase speed and fidelity
Mentor and develop a high-performing team; build planning acumen across workforce planners and human resources through training and stakeholder engagement
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with end-to-end project/program management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close
5+ years of experience taking data and deriving meaningful information through analysis and data visualization
5+ years of experience partnering with senior executives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience reporting/data analytical tools
Experience with Workforce Planning methodologies
Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
Experience in building financial plans (long range business plan and quarterly forecast)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Level 4: $106,250 - $154,100
Summary pay range for Level 5: $131,750 - $190,900
