Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Transportation Analyst to join our 24 X 7 Logistics team in Seattle, WA, Auburn, WA or Charleston, SC. This is an alternate shift that is from Thursday through Monday. Must be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.)

This role supports enterprise transportation and logistics across all business units critical to the supply chain health, enabling production, and meeting various program needs. This is a new position due to increased growth on our 24 x 7 Logistics team. The Transportation Analyst will work to provide optimal solutions utilizing contracted carriers for all modes of transportation balancing schedule and cost.

Our team is currently looking for a Mid-Level (Level 3) Transportation Analyst.

Position Responsibilities:

Daily shipment execution of mission critical parts for all programs using all modes of transportation and balancing costs with schedule.Provides support for the development of the statement of work to secure cost-effective transportation services.Analyzes carrier performance data for cycle time, costs and business process review.Participates on enterprise wide and cross-functional teams defining export control programs.Interfaces with internal/external compliance organizations and responds to Customs and Border Protection inquiries for export control issues to ensure compliance with export regulations, federal regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations and the Boeing Compliance Offices.Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods.Investigates loss and damage claims to carriers.Designs transportation plans and solutions.Provides program managers with the development of transportation plans.Identifies requirements and business rules for third party freight audit and payment provider to ensure compliance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

4+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation 4+ years of experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives 4+ years of experience with multi-tasking and working in a team environment Experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills 4+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)4+ years of experience managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment in support of multiple organizations4+ years of experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix teamMust be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

Bachelor's degree3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership3+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: FTL, LTL, International and Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel1+ years of experience with documentation and certification requirements of dangerous goods in transportation in support to compliance initiatives

Summary pay range (Level 3): Seattle, WA: $ 88,200 - $102,450

Summary pay range (Level 3): Auburn, WA: $ 88,200 - $102,450

Summary pay range (Level 3): Charleston, SC: $ 82,800 - $ 96,150
