Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Transportation Analyst (Level 4) to join our Supply Chain Integration, Category Logistics team within Transportation, Warehousing, and Logistics (TWL) located in Seattle, Washington.

This role is critical to Boeing's supply chain health, enabling production and supporting various program needs. This position will also be a part of solving logistics issues for a variety of our Commercial aircraft programs.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads and guides others on statement of work and independently represents transportation and logistics to internal/external organizations

Support function including problem analysis, tracking and tracing shipments, expedite shipment management

Determining the most cost-effective methods for transporting goods without sacrificing efficiency and timeliness

Collect, analyze, and make recommendations using data about timeliness, cost, types of modes, etc

Interpret and apply logistics policies, processes and methodologies to support business initiatives

Analyzes complex compliance and logistics issues, performs root cause analysis, and recommends best practice solutions for transportation and logistics

Execute International freight transactions in accordance with Federal and Regulatory Agency guidelines

Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new processes, tools and techniques for Transportation Analysts

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management

3+ years of experience interacting with business partners in resolving problems, providing a high-level of customer service

3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

3+ years of experience have using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: (Air, Parcel, Ocean, Rail, Truck)

3+ years of experience in route planning

3+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics

Bachelor's degree preferred

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
