Boeing Information Technology (IT) is on the hunt for a talented and innovative Senior Systems DevOps Integrator to join our dynamic team! Position Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders, Network Designers, Information Security, Voice, Video, Compute and vendors to resolve issues that lead to instability in our IT systems
Support high severity, complex problem resolution on Severity 1, 2 and 3 Major Incident Management (MIM) events, providing tier 4 technical guidance to the to the team, and deploying our full suite of analytic tools for the quickest possible resolution
Maintain the tools and deployment readiness for those tools that are essential in supporting high severity, complex events where service restoration is of paramount concern to the business and business productivity
Attend and support post analysis of critical, complex events through the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process that is designed to identify areas of opportunity in our operations such as detection, monitoring, troubleshooting and processes that could be improved to reduce impacts going forward
Lead and perform the identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements that support proactive analytics and problem resolution through sustainable, repeatable processes designed to drive-out defects and ensure highest quality delivery of the Network Connectivity Service
Work collaboratively to see these structures implemented as process
Lead vendor and component research evaluations and recommendations to establish architectural direction and technical roadmaps for the tools and services provided by the Proactive Network Analytics team
Lead and perform implementation planning for new or expansive multi-technology insertion projects, using established project management methodologies for the purpose of controlling quality, costs, and adherence to the project plan
Support off shift, on call support on a rotational basis
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience of network design and analysis of IP networks
5+ years of experience in IT configuration management planning, change management, and configuration management auditing
5+ years of experience with Cisco, Arista and Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls
5+ years of experience with Local Area Network (LAN) technologies and WIFI including but not limited to Spanning-tree ECMP, QOS, and Multicast (IGMP/PIM)
5+ years of experience with Metro and Wide Area (MAN/WAN) and Perimeter technologies including but not limited to Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP), Virtual Routing & Forwarding (VRF), Encryption (GETVPN, DMVPN), and tunnels
5+ years of experience with Data Center technologies including but not limited to 3-Tier, Spine Leaf, NSX-T, Load Balancing (F5/AVI) LTM/GTM
5+ years of experience with Infrastructure Services technologies DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP, AAA, and Radius
5+ years of experience with Desktop, (Laptop/tablets), Servers (ESXi Virtualization/Blades/Storage SAN/NAS),
5+ years of experience with network tools like, Splunk, NetBrain, Network Node Manager, APCON, OMNI, Wireshark, and TCP Dump
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience using of API’s and systems integration automation concepts
5+ years of experience programming in Python and other scripting languages
5+ years of experience with data aggregation concepts, Syslog, SNMP, traps and polling
5+ years of experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Power BI
5+ years of experience with integrations of polling and performance data to manage business concepts
