The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Systems and Data Analyst to join the team in either North Charleston, SC; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX; or Seattle, WA.

Join our team as a Senior Systems and Data Analyst where you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business operations and technology for Ariba. Collaborating closely with both business and Information Technology (IT) stakeholders, you will drive the realization of essential capabilities for our dynamic indirect spend team. Position Responsibilities:

Utilizes knowledge in Procurement process and Ariba solution (Upstream module and Downstream module, Guided Buying, Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)) with understanding of SAP Materials Management (MM) and finance

Leads and facilitates requirement gathering session, document business requirements, perform Fit Gap Analysis

Maintains Ariba configuration workbook, end-to-end solution design, functional specification preparation, realization, and coordination of deployment activities

Demonstrates business acumen, knows latest industry trends, and looked as an internal expert on the Procure 2 Pay (P2P) product (Ariba, SAP) as well as the associated Enterprise Resource Planning integrations that drive the Buy 2 Pay processes

Translates functional specifications into application design documents, co-ordination with BASIS, Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), Process Integration (PI) team, testing of new functionality or enhancements, prepare test plans and test scripts

Performs unit tests and integration tests of Ariba solution

Collaborates with cross functional teams comprising of business subject matter experts (SMEs), architects, developers and Systems Integrators (SIs) (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems

Acts as a single point of contact for business as a subject matter expert in P2P across all transactional systems

Researches and evaluates potential solutions in the Source to Pay (S2P) space in partnership with the business and application architecture team, performs proof of concept (POC), and drives implementation of the proposed solution

Supports and influences the analysis, design and support of software solutions that meet business partner needs; primary area of focus will be on SAP solutions to Ariba

Identifies, recommends, and implements complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation

Develops, reviews, and maintains functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners

Participates in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues

Supports business efforts in developing a solutions roadmap to support the client’s immediate and long-term source-to-pay objectives

Researches complex or multiple processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design

Consults with customers to clarify and refine complex requirements. Interprets and translates complex requirements into functional specifications

Leads and performs activities to develop and execute tests to validate system functionality against specifications

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in relevant role supporting technology (systems and data analyst, architecture, systems integration, etc.)

5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

3+ years of experience leading a software development team through the full software life cycle

3+ years of experience with SAP Ariba (configuration, enhancement, customization, integration)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 9 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $110,500 – $159,850
