The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented SeniorSystem Design & Integration Specialist to join the team in either Seattle, WA; Kent, WA; Seal Beach, CA; or North Charleston, SC.

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Expert to manage the maintenance and upgrading of web browsers, specifically Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge, within our complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of these browsers, their configurations, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. This role is essential for ensuring optimal browser performance, security, and compatibility with enterprise applications.

Position Responsibilities:

Oversees the deployment and configuration of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge across the enterprise

Ensures all browsers are updated with the latest versions and security patches

Customizes browser settings to meet organizational policies and user needs

Provides expert technical support for browser-related issues, including performance, compatibility, and security

Diagnoses and resolve browser-related problems efficiently and effectively

Collaborates with Information Technology (IT) support teams to address and resolve user-reported issues

Plans and executes browser upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to users

Conducts comprehensive testing of new browser versions and configurations to ensure compatibility with enterprise applications

Documents testing results and provide recommendations for improvements

Implements and enforces security best practices for browser usage within the organization

Monitors and addresses browser security vulnerabilities, applying necessary updates or configurations

Educates users on safe browsing practices and potential security threats

Maintains detailed documentation of browser configurations, policies, and procedures

Generates reports on browser usage, performance metrics, and upgrade status for management review

Stays informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to web browsers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience working in the Information Technology (IT) field

5+ years of experience in managing and supporting Chrome, Firefox, and Edge in an enterprise environment

Experience in a role that required the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Certifications related to IT support or web technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals)

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automating browser management tasks

Experience with web security standards and practices

Experience with strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Level 4: $120,700 - $174,800

Summary pay range for Level 5: $144,500 - $209,300
