This candidate will be Responsible for Stakeholder communication and reporting, operational excellence and continuous improvement, program governance, vendor, and finance management.
Position Responsibilities:
Creates and manages product/platform roadmaps
Manages work intake, planning, resource allocation and execution using Program Increment (PI) Planning Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
Reduces redundant, manual and repeat tasks with automation and simplification
Manages program and report out
Promotes and maintains silent operations
Identifies, manages, and works through risks
Addresses platform compliance
Reports monthly and biweekly for the Pod Team
Plans and updates for the Long-Range Business Plan (LRBP)
Defines, implements, and manages user account security protocols, network security measures, and access management processes
Administers system networking, cluster technologies, storage solutions, Unix environments, and scripting automation.
Manages resource allocation and workload prioritization across multiple customers sharing common systems
Evaluates, performs upgrades, and troubleshoots Teradata or other Data Warehouse products to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Provides comprehensive support for performance analysis, as well as backup and recovery processes for customer data
Establishes, updates, and maintains Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) compliance controls relevant to system support
Acts as the primary liaison, coordinating change management activities between third-party vendors and Data Center operations
Provides responsive support during on-call rotations and system outages, ensuring rapid issue resolution
Collaborates effectively with Teradata and other Data Warehouse teams to diagnose and resolve unexpected outages
Ensures the integrity and retention of customer data through regular backups
Maintains effective communication with customers, actively seeking and incorporating feedback for continuous process improvement
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience interfacing with database systems (such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, IBM, Teradata, etc.)
5+ years of experience with backups/restores
5+ years of experience using LINUX/UNIX operating systems
5+ years of experience with shell scripting in Linux/Unix hosting environments
5+ years of experience with database technologies using SQL or PL/SQL
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
Experience with TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), and multi-homing environments
Experience managing cloud storage solutions including SAN, NAS, and S3 technologies
Experience delivering innovative technical solutions to complex problems
Experience working in large-scale, diverse production environments
Experience with both physical and virtualized system infrastructures

Summary pay range: $154,700 - $209,300
