Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate, Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2:

Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutionsApplies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chainCoordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customersIncorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production planCoordinates part number attributesVerifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning systemReleases and maintains ordersDocuments and resolves order delinquenciesReports schedule adherence issuesApplies developed solutions to inventory plansAnalyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventoriesCreates schedules for products and servicesCoordinates and supports process improvementsWorks under general supervision.

Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutionsApplies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chainAnalyzes complex material requirementsVerifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production planDetermines part number attributesInitiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availabilityEnsures on-time deliveryDocuments and resolves order delinquenciesReports schedule adherence issuesDevelops and controls inventory plansOptimizes inventory levelsAnalyzes and dispositions excess inventoriesInitiates auditsDevelops and creates schedules for products and servicesAssists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposalsImplements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performanceWorks under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Associate Level 2

More than 1 year of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.More than 1 year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).More than 1 or more years’ experience supporting deliverables for both internal/external customersExperienced Level 3:

More than 3 years of experience in supply chain or materials management.More than 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).More than 3 years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher.Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Degree cannot be listed as a ‘Required’ BQ due to Skills-focused hiring initiative

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate Level 2: Typically, 1 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.

Experienced Level 3: Typically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.
