Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our dynamic E-7A Program team in Tukwila, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutionsApplies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chainAnalyzes complex material requirementsVerifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.Determines part number attributesInitiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availabilityEnsures on-time deliveryDocuments and resolves order delinquenciesReports schedule adherence issuesDevelops and controls inventory plansOptimizes inventory levelsAnalyzes and dispositions excess inventoriesInitiates auditsDevelops and creates schedules for products and servicesAssists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposalsImplements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performanceWorks under general direction

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and WordMore than 5 years of experience in supply chain or materials managementMore than 5 years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 5 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP systemMore than 1 year of experience using SQL

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
