Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Tukwila, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectationsManages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceLeads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programsDevelops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategiesAnalyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategiesActs as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processesMore than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performanceMore than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and servicesMore than 3 many years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 3 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirementsMore than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective actionMore than 3 years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range:

Oklahoma City, OK - $96,050 - $118,650

Tukwila, Washington - $109,650 - $135,450
