Find your future with us.The Commercial Training Solutions Business, industry leader in commercial aviation training solutions, is looking for a Senior Strategy & Business Development analyst to shape the future trajectory of the training services business. As a Senior Analyst, you will lead strategic analysis and development to inform and/or recommend critical business decisions, set strategic priorities, evaluate investment options, form implementation and go-to-market plans, and much more in partnership with the BGS Leadership Team. As a member of the Strategy and Business development team you will hold significant responsibilities that directly impact the future direction of the Training Business.
Responsibilities:
Market assessment and industry benchmarking as foundation to provide insights and recommendations around business transformation opportunitiesCreate innovative alternative business models inclusive of strategic partnerships, organic and acquisition opportunitiesEngage in business case development, transaction management and negotiation, implementation planning and initial deal integrationPrioritize opportunities, risks and impacts informing the alignment of future company investmentsUtilize and evaluate complex models to support market forecasts and alternative scenario planning exercisesSynthesize complex business and operational concepts into effective and persuasive storiesPresent strategic hypotheses, findings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders in an individual or team capacityDrive outcomes through strategy to action project phasing, and/or articulating learnings to inform business and technical strategies and planning
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Technical, business or finance Bachelor's degree or higher5+ years of experience performing strategy or related work (e.g. Business Strategy, Strategic Consulting, Business Development, M&A, Business Planning, International/Market Analysis)5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects and working with senior leadershipKnowledge and experience of the Aerospace and Defense industryExperience in project management and advancing projects in ambiguous environmentsExperience with hypothesis-driven approaches and strategy development, particularly with identifying customer value propositionsAbility to travel to support business and team requirements (approximately 25%)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
MBA highly desired2+ years of Consulting experience2+ years of experience in aftermarket services; particularly aerospace training markets (flight & maintenance)Transaction structuring and negotiation experienceStrong analytic skills with experience using qualitative and quantitative data to develop product, business and services strategies

Summary Pay Range:
Experienced 122,400 - 165,600
Senior 158,950 – 215,050
