Find your future with us.Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Senior Safety Pilot to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role will provide flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers at multiple levels around the world.
Position Responsibilities:
Maintain qualification as a Boeing Pilot on at least one aircraft model
Support new aircraft and system development and certification efforts
Develop and validate procedures and operating techniques and assist Technical Pilots with cross-model procedures
Provide information and specialized safety services to Company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operation efficiency
Consult with cross-functional teams during accident investigations and analysis
Research, edit documents and coordinate publication of procedures and techniques for operating Boeing aircraft
Represent Boeing as subject matter experts by authoring and presenting professional papers at worldwide safety and flight operational forums
Meet with regulatory agencies at the executive level
Support sales campaigns by discussing and demonstrating aircraft and new flight technology
Serve as consultants to senior management and other industry professionals
Works under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements
2000 flight hours
Experience in aviation safety
Experience in flight procedures and flight crew environment
Airline experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Airplane accident investigation experience
