The Mobility Surveillance & Bombers Safety (MS&B) Capability is seeking a dynamic Safety andMission Assurance Manager to lead one of the System Safety and Mission Assurance teams in the Puget Sound, WA region.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safety and airworthiness of the program across entire life cycle, from conceptual development into design and test, production and sustainment of the fielded aircraft. This individual will demonstrate the attributes of a Boeing manager leading teams and motivating people to work together. This position leads and manages a team of engineers at the MS&B site in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of System Safety and Mission Assurance

Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals

Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements

Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Manage, develop and motivate employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the MS&B site in Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry

3+ years of experience in systems safety

3+ years of experience in a team lead or manager role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with systems design engineering

5+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Experience with requirements, designs, and design analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $138,550 – $187,450
