Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to join the Fabrication Core Quality team onsite in Auburn, Washington.
This position is for a Deputy Quality Management Representative (DQMR) (senior quality professional) responsible for supporting and executing the BCA Quality Management System (QMS), setting standards and policies across assigned Fabrication Manufacturing Business Units (MBU), ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements including FAA Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 21. This role acts as a key liaison between engineering, operations, supply chain, and regulatory authorities to sustain product safety, airworthiness, and continuous improvement.
Position Responsibilities:
Demonstrated skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
Lead the maintenance of a compliant Quality Management System and Aerospace Standard (AS9100)
Knowledge of Regulatory requirements Title 14 CFR Part 21
Support issue resolution, metrics and develop common checklists
Support management reviews
Perform benchmarking of Enterprise and industry best practices
Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action
Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years Quality / AS9100 or ISO9001/ Quality Processes / Title 14 CFR Part 21
5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Excellent organization skills, communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Previous work in aerospace, manufacturing, quality or another highly regulated industry
AS9100 or ISO9001 Internal Auditor experience
Experience working on multiple projects
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study
