Boeing is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist (Mid-Level, Lead, or Senior) to join our team in one of the following locations: Huntsville, AL; Berkeley, MO; Seattle or Everett, WA; Huntington Beach, CA; North Charleston, SC; or Titusville, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads Quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development and effectively implemented in the Quality Management System (QMS).

Leads multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and AS9100 requirements are deployed.

Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions

Develops scope, schedule, plans and leads hardware and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements, and reports results to management

Leads third party Audits and provides guidance tosenior management and other affected parties on preparation for third party audits

Works under minimal direction

Perform internal QMS audits in accordance with the applicable QMS standard(s) and internal requirements.

Develops and manages audit plans and schedules.

Conducts risk analysis to determine audit focus areas.

Performs benchmarking of enterprise best-practices.

Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.

Represents the Company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality as needed.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems

5+ years of experience in quality auditing

Experience with document and records management (command media, forms, process management)

Experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)

Experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systems

Technical writing experience

Experience in leading or managing project and teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years of experience with AS9100, AS9110, or AS9120

Ideal Candidate has successfully completed an industry recognized aerospace auditor training. (Note: this will be required within 3 months of employment if selected)

Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education/experience

Experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners

5+ years of knowledge with technical experience in an aerospace environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for mid-level (level 3): $80,750 - $117,300

Summary pay range for lead (level 4): $100,300 - $144,900

Summary pay range for senior (level 5): $127,500 - $185,150
