Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an ExperiencedQuality Production Specialist (Material Review/Investigation) to join the Skin and Spar Team, based out of Auburn, WA. This position is for 2nd shift.
A successful hire in this position will be performing both functions as Material Review Board Designee (MRBD) and Quality Assurance Investigator (QAI) to support our Quality team. This team supports BCA airplane programs by performing collective analysis on nonconformance records to identify systemic issues, contain, and obtain corrective action within our production system.
Position Responsibilities
Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development
Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed
Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems
Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation
Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability
Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions, and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval
Conducts hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management
Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment
Works under general direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Auburn, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with Quality Assurance or Technical Inspection
3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
3+ years collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data in a meaningful way
3+ years of experience analyzing and summarizing raw data from various sources, and recommending executable action plans
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in a role that required strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
3+ years of experience working with (CMES) Common Manufacturing Execution System
3+ years of experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment
3+ years of experience working with suppliers
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience

Summary Pay Range: $95,000 - $115,000
