Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting expatriate opportunity for a Senior Quality Manager (Level L) who will lead the Zhoushan Delivery Center Quality Assurance team and oversee theZhoushan Delivery Center Quality Management System.

Boeing Zhoushan Delivery Center Senior Quality manager is responsible for overseeing Return to Service paperwork for customer aircraft afterwork has been performed by the Joint Venture, and overseeing the completion Export C of A prior to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the delivery process, and site compliance to company & regulatory requirements. Duties include to overseeing and ensuring Aircraft Service Bulletin and repair of Boeing aircraft in preparation of aircraft issuance of airworthiness certification. By overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and post-flight checks, Part 125 release for flight, and preparation for delivery in Zhoushan, China.

This job operates in FAR Parts 125 and 145 and requires knowledge of FAA, CAAC, and Boeing Delivery Center policies and procedures.

This is a Long-Term Assignment for up to 3 years, with primary location in Seattle, WA; assignment location in Zhoushan, China.Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.

Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years' experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners.

5+ years' experience in a leadership role leading matrixed teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.

5+ years' experience leading and influencing people in a Quality, Engineering or manufacturing organizations.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.)

Ability to work overtime and alternate shift as required by the business needs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree in related field

Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License OR the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate.

Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to manage, develop and motivate employees.

Experience completing process oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner.

Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures.

Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving.

Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, Managing Conflict, Building Positive Relationship, Ethical Leadership.

Demonstrated skills in Team Building, Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation.

Long-term Assignment Details:

Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on the requirements of the country.

Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.

Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.

Shift:

This position is being staffed to provide coverage for 1st shift. However, the selected candidate must be willing to work overtime and alternate shifts as required based on the needs of the operation.

Summary Pay Range: $143,650 - $194,350
