Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager to join the Total Quality Team in supporting the Modifications and BCF Programs. The successful candidate will be an innovative self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. They will lead an experienced team of Quality Systems Specialists, including FAA ODA I-UM’s in support of these key programs. Position can be located in either Long Beach, CA or Seattle, WA.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages the BGS Commercial Modifications and BCF Total Quality Team.
Represents BGS Total Quality at Program Level.
Lead on Quality matters related to Program execution, performance and/or improvement.
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Manages Investigations and Root Cause Corrective Action for both Boeing and related Supplier activities.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
Supports the Boeing FAA ODA and team members who are ODA I-UM.
Introduce and lead Quality Leadership Reviews for Program and Total Quality Management.
Lead the integration/alignment of BGS Supplier Quality and Program Quality resources/procedures to better support Programs.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.“U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment.
Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree
5+ years of experience working in a quality environment.
Experience of engaging with multiple stakeholders, both inside and outside of Boeing, including the Boeing ODA and the FAA.
Experience preparing and presenting succinctly to executives, senior leadership, and external customers/suppliers.
3+ years of experience developing and implementing process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment?
Experience in leading a Quality Management System.
Certified Internal Auditor through Boeing or other industry recognized provider
Airframe & Powerplant certificate
MRO maintenance repair and overhaul experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $86,310-$ 160,290
