Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for Senior Quality Engineer and Program Managers to join our BCA Quality Engineering team onsite in Everett, Washington and Renton Washington.

There are 2 positions - one in Renton and one in Everett.

These leaders will play a vital role linking together the work of their teams to commitments to improve the Safety & Quality of our airplane programs.

Leaders in these positions will be on the forefront of major Quality System improvements that are upgrading how we design and execute our conformance system, including:

Strategic quality improvements for deployment in the BCA Programs and Delivery Centers in Renton/Seattle and Everett

Designing and upgrading all aspects of Conformance Plans, including Conformance System Oversight & Maintenance to systematically assess and improve our operating documents

Developing Inspection Standard Work to improve consistency and repeatability of operations

Conducting qualifications and ensuring production readiness through FAVs, FAIs, and activities involving FAA certification and conformities

Assisting BPSMs for RCCA improvement and regulatory/compliance audit responses

Assessing statistical and coupon registry audits

Collaborating with the Office of the Chief Quality Engineer to deploy new inspection technologies

Developing the careers of Quality Engineers, including those seeking to become Boeing Designated Experts and Associate Technical Fellows

Position Responsibilities:

Manages First Line Leaders performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of BCA Airplane Programs through all lifecycle phases

Develops quality strategies and plans in support of execution of program/business plans

Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility

Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering

2+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams

3+ years of experience in Engineering

3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Strong ability to cultivate customer and stakeholder relationships

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Experience mentoring team members for both career and technical matters

Experience with Engineering, Production Environment and Change Processes

Summary pay range: $154,000 - $196,650
