Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Quality Engineer and Program Manager (Level K) to join our BCA Fabrication Quality team in Everett, WA or Auburn, WA.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable and competent professionals who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The ideal candidate will leverage transformational leadership skills to lead our Quality Engineering teams and drive innovative solutions into the Boeing Production System. The Quality Engineering teams support production by driving process improvements to eliminate escapes and defects, and by designing advanced inspection systems to ensure all products meet the highest Safety and Quality standards. Our Quality Engineering managers will lead the resolution of complex engineering and production challenges and will have a critical role in the continuous improvement of our Quality Management System.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing quality engineering and technical activities in support of the manufacturing business units through all phases of the product lifecycle.Lead change and improvement across the production systemDevelops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.Provides education and coaching on the Quality SystemFacilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality dataTeach and rely on structured problem-solving methods to resolve issues and drive improvementUnderstand and teach current standards, policies and requirementsCommunicate with internal and external regulatory and compliance officials and support onsite auditsLead and support implementation of the Built-in Quality and improvement initiatives across Fabrication using understanding of established and regulated production and quality systemImplement solutions and drive decisions effectively through reliance on heavy data analysisUtilize new and innovative approaches including advanced process and production oversight methods and new technology throughout the course of their assignment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry3+ years of experience root cause analysis and corrective action3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusionsMust have experience leading and mentoring a technical team

Summary pay range (Level K) - $ 132,500 - $152,900
