We’re seeking a seasoned Quality Manager who’s ready to lead, elevate, and inspire. In this role, you’ll shape the future of our Quality Assurance function – strengthening the systems that keep us compliant while championing the continuous improvements that move our business forward.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Quality Assurance function driving compliance with AS9100 standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectationsDevelop, implement, and continuously improve quality management systems (QMS) that balance structure with flexibility to meet business needsGuide cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into design, production, and delivery processesTrain, mentor, and empower workforce to adopt effective quality practices throughout the organizationChampion internal audit excellence and coordinate with external auditors to ensure complianceProvide strategic oversight while being hands-on when necessary to address critical quality issuesIdentify risk to compliance and quality, implement corrective actions, and drive root cause analysesCollaborate closely with leadership to align QA objectives with broader business goals.Motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse team of quality professionalsDevelop and maintain relationships with leaders, quality stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports

Required Skills and Experience

Proven track record as a leader in Quality Assurance3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Technician or Quality Analyst in the aerospace or defense industryExperience with AS9100 standards and certification processesStrong leadership skills to motivate teams and drive accountability while fostering collaborationAbility to balance enforcing standards with rigidity and adapting practices to meet dynamic operational challengesAbility to balance competing priorities to drive tasks to completion in a fast-paced environmentExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying gaps and implementing innovative solutionsExcellent communication skills to work effectively across all levels of the organizationExperience in quality auditing, SCAR, CAPAAbility to build trust with cross-functional teams and leaders to influence decision making to align with quality goals and desired behaviors

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office toolsFamiliarity with quality metrology or CMM operationExperience with supplier qualification and approvalKnowledge of Lean principles, processes and toolsExperience with project management

Typical Education/Experience:
