Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an experienced or senior Project Management Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join the 777/777X Customer Introductions Business Operations team in Everett, WA.
The successful candidate will lead process improvement projects, partner with a broad set of 777 program stakeholders to plan and manage customer programs and serve as the lead for the Customer Introductions community of excellence. Current projects include 777-9 schedule template development and workflow optimization efforts. This role requires a strong background in cross-functional program planning, stakeholder engagement, and clear communication of progress and priorities to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and deliver process improvement projects that increase predictability, efficiency, and quality across Customer Introduction activities for the 777/777X programs.·Collaborate with scheduling, planning, and other value-stream stakeholder groups to integrate and manage complex program plans and schedules.·Lead the Customer Intro community of excellence, establishing and communicating community priorities, coordinating cross‑program initiatives with scheduling and planning functions across Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), pro viding regular status and progress updates to Bus Ops and Engineering leadership.·Facilitate cross-functional working sessions with engineering functions to identify issues and align recovery plans.·Drive data-informed decision-making using program metrics and performance indicators.·Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.·Mentor and influence peers and more junior project managers, sharing best practices and process improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
· (Level: 3) 5+ years or more of progressive project/program management experience in complex environments (manufacturing experience highly desirable)·5+ years of experience with scheduling tools and practices; ability to integrate multiple schedules into cohesive program plans·Proficiency with common office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and familiarity with program management software·Bachelor's and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience, a master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Preferred Qualifications:
· (Level: 4) 10+ years or more of progressive project/program management experience in complex environments (manufacturing experience highly desirable)·Experience in managing schedules in Primavera (P6) or Open Plan Professional·Strong communication skills; ability to present updates and recommendations to leadership·Experience with Tableau·Scrum or agile certification·Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
