Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the 777 BPS and Lean Integration Team based out of Everett, Washington. This position is for 1st shift.

Successful candidates will bring experience in supporting cross-functional teams and engaging with various levels of leadership. They will exhibit a high degree of professionalism and discretion. The ideal candidates will contribute to business planning, decision making, operations, and provide valuable insights throughout the BCA value stream. Additionally, they will be proactive, demonstrate exceptional attention-to-detail, and possess the ability to prioritize efficiently and effectively.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects, demonstrating proficiency in project management standards (e.g., PMI/PMBOK, ANSI, ISO)

Provides oversight and management responsibility — including performance management and reporting — for a portfolio of small to medium projects supporting organizational goals and objectives

Identifies key stakeholders and documents project-specific objectives and requirements

Ensures team members execute assigned tasks and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting per the project plan

Performs in-depth project analysis and documents lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans

Assesses team performance and provides performance feedback to appropriate management

Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

Provides input on team member performance to management, where appropriate

Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

Analyzes and interprets data

Provides feedback on assessment results

Run meetings to present data from workshops and assessments

Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans, and metrics to accomplish company initiatives, utilizing Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes

Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

Performs work with minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools in the workplace

5+ years of Data Analysis experience

5+ years of experience using Microsoft Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and multiple levels of leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years of experience with Project management

5+ years of experience with leading and influencing cross-functional teams

5+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)

Summary pay range:

$118,320 - $140,060
