Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to join the Supply Chain Business Operations team in Renton, Washington.
We are looking for dynamic candidates with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong analytical skills. This role will support and coordinate Supply Chain change activities for basic release/customer introduction change types, including data analysis, impact assessment, and evaluation of stakeholder responses. They will represent Supply Chain at the Change Board to ensure alignment, informed decision-making, and successful program schedule execution.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans.
Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.
Develops, collects, organizes, and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules. Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.
Assist with development and maintenance of change incorporation plans by coordinating with Supply Chain to identify relevant tasks and constraints and acquire commitments.
Work cross-functionally with all of the roles involved in the Production System for completion of successful change commitments from external partners and suppliers (Supply Chain, Operations, Contracts, Materials Management, Factory, Program Planning and Control, Engineering, etc.).
Negotiates between organizations to develop incorporation plans and integrated schedules supporting the change commitment process.
Monitors and ensures compliance with external supplier commitment plans and schedules and reports on status.
Interfaces with program management, product design, contracts, tooling, manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, component suppliers, assemblers, and product support, in order to develop and maintain configuration incorporation plans and integrated schedules.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
3+ years of experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, or a similar tool
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Project Management Certification
Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
Experience working across organizations and interfacing with key stakeholders, including senior leaders
Experience in a role that required creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, strong collaborative skills, strong written and verbal communication

Level 2 Summary pay range: $75,690-$90,240
Level 3 Summary pay range: $95,700-$111,860
