Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Manager to join our Digital Business Operations team in Renton, WA or Everett, WA.
This candidate will work closely with our IT partners and functional experts in leading a variety of transformational projects using Program Management Best Practices. As a Project Manager, the selected candidate will be committed and engaged, always focusing on supporting teams to deliver high-value products, with high quality, on time, and within budget.
Our team is currently hiring for a Level 4 Project Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry.Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.Develops and establishes lead time requirements.Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry.Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
7+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects7+ years of experience in teaching or explaining concepts to technical and non-technical audiences7+ years of experience in performing risk assessments and risk managementExperience managing high-level schedules and master phasing plans (MPP)Experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other project management tools7+ years of experience working across different business units and disciplines to drive collaboration and results
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills5+ years of experience with transformational systemsProject management certification (PMP, PMI, PMBOK, PMBP, etc). Demonstrated success in leading complex integration projects including developing innovative solutions to project impediments
