Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Services is looking for Project Management Specialists to join our team.

The role will support portfolio execution of all current and future Next Generation Product Support (NGPS) digital capabilities and investment across defense platforms, customers, and contract types (Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales, and USG contracts). The primary purpose of this role is enabling single-threaded ownership of delivering business projects that involve multiple work streams/functional groups. This includes responsibility for managing projects end-to-end through the planning, development, execution, and implementation stages.

Position Responsibilities:

Delivers multiple business projects that are highly complex from planning to minimum realization with full responsibility and accountability for the outcomes; including organizing and tracking project details and communicating consistently with project stakeholders and personnelDevelops, analyzes, and manages all touch points of the project plan including responsibility for milestone/deliverable scheduling, managing project financials, and providing input and justification for costs and budget impactHolds project teams accountable for meeting or exceeding expectations by coordinating team activities and managing milestones and deliverablesFacilitates and influences investment strategy for the portfolio aligning work scope, tasks and resources within financial commitmentsManages and ensures the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers, third party vendors, and senior/executive managementResponsible for tracking and reporting key metrics (i.e., deliverables, measures of success, financials, duration, benefits) and communicating findings to program managers and senior/executive management.Owns the project execution plan (i.e., work breakdown structures) and business objectives (e.g. process design/re-design, change management, deployment approach, management and end user readiness), partnering with IT and/or Functional teams to bridge business alignment, strategy, to execution.Develops strategic plans for realigning work statement to support current and new business initiatives that support organization goals and strategyBalance the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive the Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)Program management efforts involve utilizing traditional management techniques (Waterfall, EVM) and Agile project management methodologyApplies technical knowledge of product support and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activitiesAssist in Risk, Issue, & Opportunity management

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience managing operational, program, and/or project financial budgets5+ years of experience developing project work breakdown structures (WBS) / user stories used to create project schedules5+ years of experience in product (hardware, software) program and project management5+ years of experience working directly with executives or senior leaders5+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiativesExperience with Military Aircraft PlatformsWilling and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent military experienceExperience with critical business and financial acumen including risk, issue and opportunity and management to drive performanceExperience demonstrating Global PerspectiveExperience with Project Management Systems ThinkingExperience with Product Support, Support Equipment and Training ServicesExperience with Boeing Military Aircraft PlatformsExperience developing and implementing a comprehensive, outcome-based product support strategyExperience in the areas of improving material availability, reliability, maintainability, and reducing Operating & Support (O&S) costsPrevious proposal and acquisition experience culminating in business growth or recapture

Experienced:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Lead:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Average Pay Summary:$87,550 – $118,450

$107,950 – 146,050
