Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Management Specialist to join the KC-46 Pegasus Tanker Sustainment Team in Tukwila, WA.

The Project Management Specialist will directly contribute to the success of the fielding, operations, and maintenance of the KC-46 for the United States Air Force and its global allies. In this role, you will provide project leadership to a multi-disciplined team supporting aircraft production and sustainment. You will network with multiple stakeholders such as Business Development, Engineering, Finance and Supplier Management. Come join the KC-46 Sustainment Team!

Position Responsibilities:

Develops the overall project plan to meet the objectives of the organization and the Air Force customerManages a portfolio of small to medium size projects using Project Management Best Practices (PMBP) to ensure business, technical, and customer requirements are achievedEstablishes and communicates objectives and goals to ensure common direction and delivery of high-quality products and services on-timeEnsures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per planDevelops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovationKnowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various departments/disciplines (e.g. Contracts, Estimating, Engineering, Finance Supplier Management)Establishes partnerships and relationships with internal stakeholders and peers

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience in a role requiring project / program management skillsExperience leading teams in a formal and/or informal roleExperience with developing and delivering presentations to senior leadersExperience with Program Management Best Practices

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience supporting aircraft production, development, and/or sustainment program(s)Experience with Earned Value ManagementConfident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and able to multi-task and manage expectationsExperience adapting to changes in schedules and priorities, solving problems, and generating alternative solutionsExperience leading cross-functional teams from proposal through execution

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $100,300 - $156,400
