Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Program Manager – Radar/Electronic Warfare Self Protection (EWSP)(Level K). The qualified candidate must have a great working relationship with peers, senior leaders, and executives using strong collaboration, communication, and people skills. The position is located in Tukwila, WA.

The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, biased towards action and proactive in problem solving and coordination.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program ManagementDevelops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, and peersProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesEstablishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement planManages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives3+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas3+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher5+ years of experience managing risks, cost performance and schedule performance 5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas 3+ years of experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and executing projects

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel: Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally for 20% of the time

Summary pay range for $135,150 - $182,850
