Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Senior Program Management Spec to join our Commercial Aircraft Parts Business team. This role will lead efforts to ensure the team has easy access to key data required to manage and run the business, which is integral to the P&L management and LRBP growth of the BGS Commercial Parts Business.
This individual will:
Define the correct current business data requirements and predict future needsManage stakeholder expectations, collaborate with data SMEs and ensure their needs are accurately capturedEnsure delivery of high quality & scalable yet simple data solutionsEnsure proper documentation and open sourceProvide user support and training materialSupport strategy development for commercial parts business digital transformation projectsHave ability to navigate from raw data to providing data-driven solutions and visualization, with solid expertise in Teradata data warehouse and TableauLeverage data analysis to develop strategic initiatives, drive competitive improvements, and improve business outcomes
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as business requirement, logic owner and key testerGet suggestions and buy-offs from data and business experts on requirements and collaborate on testing efforts.Communicate requirements to development teamsMake data clean, simple, comprehensive, trustable, and verifiable.Use database as a teaching tool to encourage real data literacyProvide ongoing help for new and existing usersFocus on open source - set examples and make it easy for users to self-serveCreate selective dashboards using proven visualization and encourage users to deep dive using the same data sourcesTurn Tableau dashboards + workbook into a smart user toolPrep cleaned data for AI and collaborate with AI experts to develop capabilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with SQL, advanced Excel, Tableau dashboard development, and general database foundational concepts3+ years of experience with utilizing internal Boeing data including but not limited to supplier data, aircraft data, engineering data, sales data, and part attribute data3+ years of experience in leading projects in a cross-functional environment3+ years of experience collaborating across functions and organizations3+years of experience developing business strategiesFinancial Acumen with experience understanding and applying financial metrics to assess the viability of business casesExperience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skillsAbility to think creatively with a solution-oriented mindsetPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experienceMBA/Master’s degree or equivalent work experienceExperience with business consulting, marketing, sales, finance and/or supply chainDirect experience with the Commercial Parts business within the Aerospace IndustryExperience with Airline Operations and Supply ChainStrong understanding of statistical conceptsExperience influencing stakeholders and shaping requirements
