The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Production Engineering Manager to join our team in Tukwila, WA with teams located in Tukwila, WA; Seattle, WA; and Everett, WA. The selected candidate will be responsible for daily management and oversight of multiple engineering disciplines to support our Structures Laboratories and Fabrication organizations to support multiple test program activities. Local travel to Seattle, Tukwila and Everett sites on weekly basis is expected.

This role will lead employees who perform mechanical and electrical engineering and technical activities in areas of Liaison Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering supporting Commercial, Military and Space Programs. In addition, it will lead employees who develop process improvements, execute projects and process plans, improve and implement policies and procedures.

This position will have responsibilities associated with engineering and fabrication work placement with global partners and suppliers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Manage employees at multiple sites performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Liaison Engineering and Manufacturing EngineeringDevelop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectivesAcquire resources for department activities, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvementsDevelop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManage, develop and motivate employeesDevelop estimates, resource forecasts, program performance metricsManage budget, schedule, risks & opportunities associated with design/build test program statement of workProvide management oversight of the teams in laboratory and fabrication areas\Ability to travel 10% of the time to support activitiesDaily on-site support and a minimum of one day weekly at Tukwila, Seattle, and Everett

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering5+ years of experience with metals fabrication and machiningExperience with Numerical Control (NC) programmingAble to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience in manufacturing, composites, fabrication, or assembly processes

Summary pay range: $138,550 – $187,450
