Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers' division is hiring a Product Specialist (Level 3 or 4) as we grow our division aligned Business Analytics team. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Product Specialist/Product Owner with strong interpersonal, communication, technical, and organizational skills, and a proven record of owning end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive) and AI solutions. In joining this team, you will play a critical part in the division's analytics transformation by identifying and supporting development of solutions and by bridging technical and business teams to take products from concept to deployment. You will break down complex situations into actionable steps that accelerate product development at scale. This position is based in Tukwila, WA.
Our team collaborates closely with division leadership, internal customers, and data owners to define and deliver advanced analytics and AI capabilities that enable data-driven decisions. We manage products through the full execution cycle, with an emphasis on analyzing needs, scoping requirements, positioning and packaging solutions, promoting adoption, and tailoring features for users—delivering high-value products that drive meaningful business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Translate ambiguous business challenges into well-defined analytics problems Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to clearly document problem statement, use case (user stories), product scope, and definition of done. Manage and prioritize backlog of features, data studies, and model refinements based on management and division priorities, data availability, and technical feasibility Develop realistic project schedules to ensure adequate time for analysis, modeling, and quality reviews Partner with data owners and SMEs to ensure team has access to required data sets Proactively identify and remove blockers, whether technical or business and elevate to management when required Assess, address, and document risks to mitigate impact Manage initial discovery activities to ensure adequate assessment of data viability prior to committing to full-scale development Facilitate stakeholder reviews to share insights gathered during the exploratory data analysis (EDA) phase Coordinate beta testing, user testing, and define performance criteria for solution acceptance Lead deployment of new products and features, including documentation and user training Serve as an ambassador for data-driven decision making across the organization Drive adoption of solutions into user’s operating rhythm, track utilization, and iterate on solutions to continuously improve capabilities

Qualifications
Basic qualifications – Level 3:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 1+ years of experience with various machine learning methods such as regression, clustering, classification, decision trees, natural language processing, ensemble methods, support vector machines (SVM), deep learning, reinforcement learning, etc.1+ years of experience with Data Engineering and/or Data Science3+ years of experience in Project management (scope, schedule, risk, communication, coordination, execution, and control).1+ years of experience with UX/UI.1+ years of experience do you have in Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance, data governance, or related governance / compliance roles.3+ years of experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.3+ years of experience advancing projects in ambiguous environments.

Typical Education/Experience:
Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.

Summary pay range:
Level 3, $102,850 - $127,050
Level 4, $128,350 - $158,550.
