Position Responsibilities:
Conduct the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Boeing training software products
Decompose program application strategy and requirements into measurable features, user stories and technical development tasks. Work with UI/UX team to capture specific visual requirements where applicable
Define detailed technical acceptance criteria for testing and product acceptance. Responsible for final approval once team is complete
Identify, communicate and track status of architectural and upstream/downstream development team dependencies
Direct software development by following development roadmap and functionality firing order
Constantly identifying/mitigating product risks and removing development obstacles
Achieve and confirm software training products meet non-functional requirements and adhere to architecture
Provide subject matter expertise to the technical teams on product personas and backlog use cases
Champion Agile Development
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
6+ years’ of work experience in a software development environment
4+ years’ experience working on external customer-facing product owner role
3+ years’ experience managing both new development and production-driven statement of work
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex product, system and delivery issues, identifying root causes across people, process and technology.
Ability to break down rough/ambiguously defined problems into structured, testable components teams can act on.
Able to facilitate rapid decision making in high-pressure or ambiguous situations, balancing speed, quality and risk in Production and / or Customer-Facing environment
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify potential risks and failure modes, addressing issues before they impact customers or delivery timelines
Experience spans the entire SDLC, from strategy build out to monitor and management of production product.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information system or other relevant field
