Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Product Data Management Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team that supports Airplane Certification – Eligibility (AC-E) in Renton, Washington.

This role is for the Airplane Package Manager (APM) team that supports the AC-E process. The work largely involves generation and validation of the Airplane Change Project List through change classification form audits, Major-Minor Summary Reports (MMSRs), certification plans (CPs), and other general certification support linked to AC-E. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are necessary to be successful in this role.

Position Responsibilities:

Defines, documents, and interprets product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data, and data management & engineering processesDevelops, documents, and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, regulatory, and company requirements and to maintain configuration controlTracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration, and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirementsAssists with development of certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions, and/or data requirements/data management processesCollaborates with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other engineering disciplines to ensure timely completion of everything necessary for engineering book complete (EBC)Runs Major/Minor Summary Reports (MMSR) at various intervals (90/60/30 days prior to rollout and ad hoc as needed)Manages list of changes to type design and associated actions items for assigned airplanesProvides the final Airplane Change Project List (ACPL) to the airplane certification package

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsExperience with data/file managementExperience in MS Excel and manipulating data tables and formulas

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProject management skillsExperience in MS Access/VBAExperience in Configuration/Change ManagementExperience with certification processExperience with Design Change Classification System (DCCS)Experience with Lean Certification System (LCS)Experience with Engineering Definition SystemsExperience working on commercial aircraft programs

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Associate (Level 2): $68,000 - $92,000

Summary Pay Range Mid-Level (Level 3): $85,000 - $115,000
