Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Everett, WA to lead one of three KC-46 Tanker Supply Chain Teams.
This position will have the unique responsibility to manage a highly skilled group of supply chain professionals that are responsible for program contracting, strategy and development in the KC-46 programs in addition to program integration for development efforts supporting new capabilities and new business for the KC-46 program.
The candidate’s ability to partner and successfully work across functions to achieve the needs of the business is critical to this position. Cross functional collaboration will be necessary to partner and engage with, but not limited to, program management, engineering, quality, operations and suppliers.
In this role, the candidate will manage a team of procurement analysts, procurement agents, supplier program managers and supply base managers that manage a variety of commodities and development activities for the KC-46 Tanker Program. Some examples of responsibility for this position are as follows: Track standard metrics for procurement execution (i.e. shortage resolution, non-conformance return to vendor burndowns). Support program Integrated Product Teams. Train and onboard new employees as well as focus on employee development. Distribute workload throughout team to ensure employee level load. Review regular performance of high volume or key suppliers to problem solve for late or problematic contracting or parts. Shortage tracking and working with cross-functional teams to develop recovery plans for shortages. Focus on continuous improvement of the work statement. Develop long term supply chain strategy to support new business acquisition. The candidate will partner closely with two other supply chain leaders in jointly managing the total KC-46 supply chain scope.
Position Responsibilities:
Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.Have oversight of Earned Value Management for material and major subcontractors.Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
More than 3 years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
More than 3 years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
Experience leading a team or program.
Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with EVM and CAM supporting Boeing DoD contracts
More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
More than 1 year of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers.
More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams.
More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $118,150 – $145,950
