Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager to manage, lead and grow a team of 12 Air Vehicle E-7 Supplier Performance employees in Tukwila, WA or Oklahoma City, OK.

The team consists of Supplier Program Managers, Supply Base Managers, and Analysts with personnel located in Oklahoma City, Seattle, and virtual. The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate and lead this team to ensure system design and development, part build and delivery, as well as product sustainment for the supply base associated with the E-7 platform. In addition, there is a need to understand the factory interface with Supply Chain. A successful candidate will be able to build an organization to meet the needs of the factory and manage a robust supply base.

Position Responsibilities:

Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements

Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes

Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools

Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years’ experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management

3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

Experience reporting status and recommendations to senior and executive leadership

Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Active Clearance

Experience in FAR/DFAR contracting

3+ years of manufacturing supply chain management

3+ years of experience negotiating contracts or management supplier performance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Oklahoma City, OK: $102,850 – $127,050

Tukwila, WA; $118,150 - $145,950
