Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our P-8 Supply Chain Team in Tukwila, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreementsManages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processesDevelops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesProvides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related toolsManages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience leading supplier contract negotiationsMore than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teamsMore than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performanceExperience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's Degree or higher preferredMore than 3 years of experience leading a team or programMore than 1 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 30% of the time.

Summary pay range: $122,400 - $151,200
