Find your future with us.The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul team is seeking a Senior Procurement Agent to join the Supplier Management team in Seattle, WA. This individual will play a critical role in managing repair lifecycle, supplier relationships and project managing all aspects of their performance, blending strategic thinking with execution.
Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and project management skills, strong ability to collaborate across functions, and a passion for Supply Chain. This role will directly impact our operational efficiency and overall supply chain effectiveness, ultimately contributing to the success of customer service level.
Position Responsibilities:
The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceProactive engagement and consultation with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.Follows Boeing procurement processes to issue purchase orders to suppliers for parts and services.Leads supplier performance evaluations to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities through risk and issues assessmentsParticipates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.Prepares and executes pricing and lead-time negotiations for maintenance, repair, and overhaul services.Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, supply chain in a fast-faced environment with strict deadlines5+ years of experience interacting with suppliers, at all levels5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint5+ years of experience managing and analyzing large amounts of data to produce recommendations and action planAble to travel 10% of the time.Experience in a self-directed role.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Masters degree or higher or equivalent work experienceExperience in strategic decision makingCommunication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role.

Summary pay range: $98,000 - $166,800
